New Leaders Council

Forward

New Leaders Council is about bringing smart, dedicated and young progressive leaders together to solve difficult problems, creatively. We feel despair, anger, frustration and uncertainty about the future of our nation. As Frederick Douglass said, "If there is no struggle there is no progress."  We need to rise up, together, and keep up the good, hard work of making progressive change in our communities. Our work is not done and we need your help. Will you join us to build a more progressive, just, equitable, inclusive and sustainable United States?

If you are ready to continue our fight for progressive values, apply today to be an NLC Fellow.

If you know an emerging leader nominate them to join our community to continue building a progressive movement.

Picture a more progressive Silicon Valley, led by today's brightest minds, equipped with the organizing and leadership skills to advance a more just and equitable society. New Leaders Council Silicon Valley is committed to realizing this dream through our flagship program, the NLC Institute.

The NLC Institute is a nationally recognized leadership training program where early career professionals find the training, the skills, and the network they need to make a meaningful impact in their communities. NLC is geared up to sponsor  44 chapters throughout the nation. Since our inception in 2005, NLC has trained nearly 4000 new leaders. Together, our quickly growing network of alumni, mentors, and board members is making a difference in Silicon Valley's public, private, and nonprofit sectors, across all professional industries. As we head into our seventh year, NLC Silicon Valley Chapter is looking for the best and brightest young progressive leaders our dynamic region has to offer.

Fellows Projects
